Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has fired some hot shots to the Chief Judge of the State, over a recent controversial comment on the outspoken politician. In a press statement issued on Ayodele Fayose's behalf by his Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, the former governor told the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Justice Ayodeji Daramola, to grow up and shed his toga of unbridled hatred for him. According to The Sun, the former Governor of Ekiti State, who was reacting to a statement by Daramola bad-mouthing the new state-of-the-art High Court complex constructed by the Fayose administration, said Daramola had only lent credence to the Yoruba adage that the horse of our enemy is never tall enough in our reckoning. A British woman who claimed she has slept with at least 20 ghosts says she’s now engaged to a poltergeist. In December, Amethyst Realm told British TV show “ITV This Morning” that  she cheated on her fiancĂ© with a ghost , and has since gone on to have supernatural affairs with at least 20 paranormal beings. Group Asks Court To Stop INEC From Recognising Buhari As APC Candidate.

A civil society group, Kingdom Human Rights Foundation International, has asked the Federal High Court in Abuja to stop the Independent National Electoral Commission from recognising, accepting or listing President Muhammadu Buhari as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming 2019 election. The KHRFI, in a suit, which it filed on Monday, alleged that by virtue of section 91(9) of the Electoral Act, Buhari’s nomination as APC’s candidate is illegal, null and void for accepting a donation of N45m worth of APC’s nomination and expression of interest forms from a group named Nigerian Consolidation Ambassadors Network. The plaintiff contended in the suit marked, FHC/ABJ/CS/1228/2018, that by virtue of section 91(9) of the Electoral Act, no individual or other entity can donate more than N1m to any candidate. A popular Ghanaian slay queen identified as Charlotte Abena Woodey, has reportedly died in what could be considered as a mysterious manner after she was struck with a strange illness, Abena Woodey, who is widely known across Instagram in the West African country, is reported to have died after battling with the yet-to-be-disclosed illness.  However, the news of her death is fast spreading on social media with many people who knew her both in real life and virtually, sending in words of condolence to the bereaved family. Plane Carrying 188 Crashes Into Sea After Takeoff In Indonesia, No Survivor.

The Lion Air aircraft crashed about 13 minutes after taking off for Indonesia. Data from the Flight Radar website showed the plane took off before it stopped transmitting north east of Jakarta. Preliminary flight tracking data from Flightradar24 shows the aircraft climbed to around 5,000 feet (1,524 m) before losing, and then regaining, height, before finally falling towards the sea. Former Minister of Works and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Tony Anenih is dead Mr Anenih, 85, died on Sunday evening at Cedarcrest Hospital, Abuja, where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment. According to wikipedia Mr Anthony Akhakon Anenih was born in Uzenema-Arue in Uromi. In 1951 he joined the Nigeria police force in Benin City. Working at home, he obtained secondary school qualifications. He attended the police college in Ikeja, and was selected for further training in the Bramshill Police College, Basingstoke, England in 1966 and the International Police Academy, Washington DC in 1970. He served as a police orderly to the first Governor General of Nigeria, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe. He worked as an instructor in various police colleges, and in 1975 was assigned to the Administrative Staff College (ASCON), Lagos. He retired from the police as a Commissioner of police. 100 gunmen’ attack Zamfara community; kill policeman, others.

At least six persons including a police corporal were on Friday killed by gunmen in Gurbin Bore village, Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, the News Agency of Nigeria has reported. The state police spokesperson, Mohammed Shehu, said the community was attacked at about 10 pm by assailants numbering about 100. It was not immediately clear why the village was targeted. Zamfara, located in Nigeria’s north west, has been hit by several deadly attacks in the last one year by people described by authorities as “bandits”, who also steal livestock. The police spokesman said three people were severely wounded in Friday’s attack. “Eleven vehicles including a police vehicle, three motorcycles and five kiosks were set ablaze by the hoodlums,” he said.
